The successful London pilot event, Casa Decor Loft, was part of the London Design Festival in September 2007, transforming Number One, The Piazza in Covent Garden into a magnificent exhibition space. This promotional event gave an insight into what Casa Decor London shall have to offer at future exhibitions.
The three storey building was occupied by Goldsmiths University, Varennes Fine Art and Casa Decor. On Casa Decor’s ground floor space, SLAM, the London-based architectural practice created the living area and Casa Decor promotional space, whilst award-winning architects Wells Mackereth designed the bar area. The central atrium boasted an innovative structure designed by Multipy and sponsored by Sager. There was also a gallery space which contained architectural images and models from 13 UK-based architectural firms.
